The 2021-2024 VW ID.4 Cargo Liner w/ Seatback Cover will provide you with true coverage when you're on the go. Help protect your trunk or cargo area from dirt and spills with this cargo liner. Custom-molded for your Volkswagen model and designed with a raised edge to contain spills, this liner also features a textured skid-resistant finish to help keep items from shifting along with a durable easy-to-clean surface. Made from a proprietary custom blended TPE that is not only wear resistant, but also remains flexible under temperature extremes.
The VW ID.4 Muddy Buddy Cargo Liner w/ Seatback Cover will fit the 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 model years.
Fitment Note: Only for vehicles with adjustable height trunk floor
Fitment Note: For best results, lay the cargo liner out flat for 24 hours in warm temperatures. This will make installation much easier.

Steps for unrolling/unfolding your cargo tray:
- Select a Suitable Surface:
- Bring the cargo tray to a hard, flat surface that is large enough to accommodate the fully unfolded liner.
- Initial Placement:
- Lay the cargo tray face up on the surface.
- Weighted Corners:
- Allow the cargo tray to remain face up for about an hour, and use weights on the corners to help flatten it.
- Flip and Repeat (if necessary):
- If needed, flip the cargo tray over and repeat the previous steps to ensure both sides are adequately flattened.
- Consider Weather Conditions:
- Be aware that the process may take longer if the cargo tray was shipped or stored in colder weather.
- Use of Heat (if necessary):
- In case of particularly stubborn creases, a heat gun or hair dryer can be used carefully to warm up those areas and aid in the unfolding process.
- Exercise Caution with Heat Tools:
- When using a heat gun or hair dryer, exercise caution to avoid damage. Apply heat gradually and maintain a safe distance to prevent overheating or melting.

Rear cargo area matt with seat back
The mat fit very well and works as advertised but shipping system folded it badly and it still has not recovered and laid flat after several weeks.

Great Trunk Mat
I really like this trunk liner for the I.D. 4. It was easy to install and so far doing a great job keeping the car clean while carrying cargo. I love that it also lines the backs of the fold down seats and allows for easy access when you need more cargo. I only took away 1 star because its a little too snug to work seamlessly with the cargo deck/cover. I really had to muscle the cover back in place after installing the mat. But overall, I think I'm going to enjoy it.

Keep the Dogs (and their hair) Off the Seats
While, this was super pricey, and was originally thought to have been part of our CUSTOM/
PERSONALLY CONFIGURED 2022 ID.4, it fits precisely and is great for how often we have super hairy dogs that shed year round.
I am pleased that we put this in the EV as we are all distance/endurance athletes with occasionally "dirty, wet, sweaty" gear and take dogs with us nearly everywhere we go. -
Nice trunk liner
Probably the best floor/trunk liner I’ve ever purchased. It fits perfect, and sticks to the back seats with velcro, way better than I thought it would. Keeps the trunk clean when taking out the trash, or taking the dog somewhere. Easy to clean up. I have the regular weather tech liners in the front and rear floors and they are super easy to remove and dump out and clean them.

Brilliant design
I love that it covers the seat backs which fold down as well as the main bay. Very clever design. A bit tricky to install right but excellent once in place.
